AirCare Helicopter and Ambulance Transport

UMMC provides emergency and critical care transport services from across the state to the main UMMC campus in Jackson or closest hospital, depending upon a patient’s severity of illness or injury. Care for the patient begins the moment our transport team arrives. During transport, the patient is in the hands of dedicated nurses or paramedics who specialize in both emergency and intensive care. Our emergency team meets the helicopter or ambulance as soon as it arrives and quickly moves the patient to our state-of-the-art emergency facility and into the care of our highly-trained doctors, nurses, and support staff.
